Truth and Deceit

We will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
(Ephesians 4:15, NLT2)

Putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth.
(Ephesians 4:25, NKJV)

These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another.
(Zechariah 8:16, NAS95)

We reject all shameful deeds and underhanded methods. We don’t try to trick anyone or distort the word of God. We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know this.
(2 Corinthians 4:2, NLT2)

Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.
(Psalm 32:2, NIV)

Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
(1 John 3:18, NLT2)

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires.
(Ephesians 4:22, NIV)
