Disciplining Children

Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.
(Proverbs 13:24, NLT2)

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 22:6, NKJV)

Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of discipline will remove it far from him.
(Proverbs 22;15, NAS95)

Don’t fail to discipline your children.
(Proverbs 23:13, NLT2)

The rod and reproof give wisdom, But a child who gets his own way brings shame to his mother.
(Proverbs 29:15, NAS95)

Discipline your children, and they will give you peace of mind and will make your heart glad.
(Proverbs 29:17, NLT2)

Take to heart all the words of warning I have given you today. Pass them on as a command to your children so they will obey every word of these instructions.
(Deuteronomy 32:46, NLT2)

For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.
(Proverbs 3:12, NKJV)

Discipline your children while there is hope. Otherwise you will ruin their lives.
(Proverbs 19:18, NLT2)

Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father?
(Hebrews 12:7, NLT2)
